Getting started

What is Craps Royale?

Craps Royale is a full-featured craps simulator for iOS. It lets you learn the craps table, practice betting strategies, and experience the game — without risking real money. All chips and wagers are virtual.

How do I place a bet?

Tap a chip denomination to select it, then tap the area of the table you want to bet on. Your bet will appear on the table. Tap Roll to shoot the dice. You can place multiple bets before each roll.

How do I remove or change a bet?

Long-press an existing bet on the table to remove it before the roll. Some bets (like the Pass Line after a point is established) cannot be removed — this follows standard casino rules.

How does the Pass Line work?

Place a Pass Line bet before the come-out roll. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, you win. If they roll a 2, 3, or 12 (craps), you lose. Any other number becomes the "point" — the shooter must roll that number again before rolling a 7 to win.

What are Free Odds?

Free Odds is an additional bet you can place behind your Pass Line (or Come) bet once a point is established. It has zero house edge — the best bet on the craps table. In Craps Royale you can take full odds to practice this strategy.

What is the Strategy Lab?

The Strategy Lab (tap the flask icon) is a built-in coaching tool that guides you through proven craps strategies like the 6/8 Place, 3-Point Molly, Iron Cross, and more. Each strategy explains when to bet, how much, and why — making it useful for beginners learning the game and for experienced players who want to test different approaches. Free Play mode lets you bet freely with no restrictions.

How does the progression system work?

You earn XP (experience points) with every roll and win. As you level up, you unlock new bet types, chip denominations, and table themes. Daily challenges and achievements give bonus XP and keep the game fresh. Your current level and XP are shown in the top bar.

My chip balance ran out — what do I do?

You can reset your chip balance from the settings menu. Since no real money is involved, resets are always available.

Is Craps Royale free?

Craps Royale is free to download with full access to the core game. The free version includes ads between sessions. Two optional purchases are available:

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, your purchases will reactivate.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Craps Royale purchase to request one.

Troubleshooting

The app crashed

Force-quit and re-open the app. If a specific action causes a repeat crash, please email us with your device model and iOS version — that's the fastest way to get it fixed.

The dice animation is slow or stuttering

Try closing other apps running in the background. If the issue persists on your device, email us and we'll look into optimizing for your hardware.

A bet didn't pay out correctly

Craps has complex payout rules that vary by bet type. The Strategy Lab includes explanations of each bet's odds and house edge to help verify expected payouts. If you believe there's a bug, email us with a description of the bet and roll outcome and we'll investigate.
